We are currently seeking highly skilled and motivated Healthcare assistants for our esteemed client in Italy. The primary focus of this institution is providing the best health care to their residents with mental health and behavioral disorders. The professionals we are looking for will be assisting qualified nurses in delivering quality healthcare to the residents. This Institution is placed in a small town and has a strategic location, which sits on the borders of three different regions (Veneto, Emilia Romagna and Lombardy). It is located near different cities like Venice, Bologna and Padova, giving their employees the opportunity to travel and explore the Italian sightseeing landscape.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Auxiliary Nursing Assistant and Midwifery (ANM)
• Experience level ranging from minimum to extensive
• Immediate availability
• Ability to build trustworthy relationships with the residents and colleagues
• Willingness to follow procedures and a desire to work well in a team
• Knowledge of Italian or English language will be considered as an advantage.

Job description: Healthcare assistants in this institution for residents with mental health and behavioral disorders have a responsible role, so it is necessary to have strong organizational and technical skills for the best possible cooperation with colleagues, residents and the whole team.

Duties:

• Turning or repositioning bedridden patients
• Answering patient calls
• Documenting patients’ health issues and reporting to nurses
• Feeding patients, measuring and recording their food and liquid intake
• Cleaning rooms and bed linens
• Helping with medical procedures
• Gathering supplies for the RN or MD
• Bathing patients
• Combing hair, shaving, caring for nails and brushing teeth
• Stocking supplies
• Preparing rooms for admissions
• Communicating with family members and the healthcare team
• Monitoring the cognitive, social, emotional, physical and functional well-being of the residents
• Constant observing of the resident’s condition and according to their individual needs providing the maximum health care.
What is the offer?
• A secured work permit - visa
• A fixed-term contract, with a minimum stay of 12 months working for the same employer, after which there will be the possibility for contract extension
• An annual salary starting from 16.800 - 18.200 euro, for 38 hours working per week
